Subject: Why People Are Afraid of Speaking to the Dead

It's really very easy to speak with whomever you wish. Bodily form or not, personalities flit here and there, doing their 'jobs' as they see fit. The problem with personalities is that the attachment to a bodily form requires 'grounding'. You just can't get very far with one.

That sounds kind of strange doesn't it? It implies that the personality must be destroyed before freedom can be 'gained'.

It gets worse.

The 'freedom' that you imagine that you will have is already there in the totality called 'you'. You are already free, but you refuse to believe it.

Entertainment kind of grows on you doesn't it?

The condition of being unable to confront communication from embodied or disembodied personalities, without the 'comfort' of the physical universe can be quite painful. It's called attachment to the body and it tells you just how much believe that you 'are' the body.

When someone comes along and shakes that thought, it can be very painful. It becomes the painful reminder that you are something much greater than the hunk of flesh you long for, and you know it but feel as helpless as a drowning sailor, freshly thrown from the sinking ship.

Survival depends upon a body. Getting past that mind set, communication begins with the entire universe and extends to the limits of your imagination.

Do you hear the call?
