A Little Story... Author: Jontu Posted: 2001-12-16 19:19 KOOKNUKE PART II - THE DESTRUCTION OF JONTU (cue dramatic music - heavy on the timapani) (fade from black) Scene opens with an aerial view of a sprawling metropolis, frenetic activity throughout is apparent. Aerial cam slowly swoops down amongst the buildings, becoming immersed in the hubub at street level. A man is seen advancing towards the camera, wending his way through the crowd of people who seem oblivious to his passage. As he gets closer to the camera, a harried expression is apparent on his unshaven face. He turns and enters an unmarked doorway, and ascends the darkened stairway within (camera follows his path from behind, up the darkened stairway; music fades away). Cut to view inside of a dingy apartment room with sparse furnishings, two men are seated at individual workstations with sophisticated computers and listening equipment. They are both wearing headsets with a small mic attached. The din of the traffic from the street seeps into the room, filling it like smoke. A rattle is heard at the door, the deadbolt pulls back and the harried man enters the room, quickly closing and locking the door behind him. One of the men, intently focused on his computer screen and the conversation he is listening to in his headset, takes no heed.
