The Numbers Game Author: misiunas Posted: 2001-11-26 11:42 Entertainment can take many forms. For example, the number of registered forum members could be considered a form of entertainment. This would come in the form of "Well, the higher the number, the more successful." This is great entertainment for people who like stats, status and that sort of thing. Personally, I would much rather watch the Three Stooges. Entertainment can also be derived from watching the number of posts made by various members of the forum. How exciting! Personally, I would rather watch the Three Stooges. Scientology is such a vast and interesting subject. It encourages one to 'go where no man has gone before', that sort of thing. Very interesting. Some people actually enjoy watching television for hours on end, no matter the content. They call it 'entertaining'. Entertainment, for me, is watching a being come alive through spiritual study and techniques. Fascinating! So when someone posts about this or that number, etc. I immediately think of the Three Stooges. Pure folly! But when someone describes their new understanding or achievement, well, then it's heaven! I hope this clears up any confusion about the 'numbers' game. |
