I do enjoy posting here, but I don't enjoy raining on your parade, because in the end I get nailed. All I want to do, is throw some things up in the air and discuss them.

I know that in the past I have gone on and on about facts, but I enjoy philosophy much more, so I think it would be better to discuss truth.

I think axioms should always be self evident. One should not need strain their thinking in order to know something that is self evident.

Some axioms for me, I treat life as a game, yet I try to consider all options, so as to avoid getting into trouble (which I have a tendency to do). It does take two to tango, but as I said, I'm a fighter and I like a good fight, but I don't like anger and things like that. I like to spar with my friends and have fun. So think of this as a spiritual sparring match, where we are really not trying to "beat the other guy" but to learn from one another. I think this is much better, and I enjoy good debate.

I'm not much into the politics of scientology, but I do enjoy learning new processes to gain more freedom, so this is what I would like to discuss.

Any thoughts or comments?
Anyone?

John. Are you the same John that was here awhile ago posting all the science stuff? Did you get your doctorate yet?

I can't teach you any new processes, but as far as fighting goes, I can't imagine any fights without anger. Can you recommend any martial arts for me?

Sorry I contribute to this thread and find something that would pique your interest.

From the Dianetics and Scientology Technical Dictionary first printing 1975, Sixth printing 1982, Copyright 1949-1981 by L. Ron Hubbard, All Rights Reserved.

Scientology Zero, 1. Scientology Zero is the problems and confusions and wrongnesses, zones of chaos of existence and the identification of those zones of chaos. At Scientology Zero you merely want the people to become aware of the fact of what the problem is. (SH Spec 310, 6309C25) 2. descriptions of the environment and what is wrong with it. Scientology Zero simply takes care of the environment in which the person lives. The whole subject is instantly summatable in it's own heading which is "the dangerous environment." (SH Spec 328, 6312C10)

Chess is a perfect example of fighting without anger. I am talking about healthy game states. A little chaos never hurt anyone, I mean, if everything was order, then there would be no free will, no free play, it would be dull. Martial arts... Ninjutsu. All I can say is that learning to fight is a delicate process. It is more important that you do the technique correctly than to put a lot of force into it. This brings up the question; what is the correct way? Well, as far as I can tell, in a game situation the only absolutes are the rules. So while you have to follow the law of gravitation in this universe to throw someone, there are ways to "bend" the rules by doing things which your opponent is not aware of. In my opinion, the whole concept of self defense is about being invisible. If they can't see you, they can't touch you.

Processes... I like to just read the information, and realize what it means, I don't self audit in that manner anymore, and I haven't for a long time. Learning to meditate in the lotus posture is one thing, learning to do it under pressure is another.

As far as order in my life, that takes effort.

martial arts,
hmmmmmmmm.....my suggestion is while you are thinking about which is the best and how to start, just go down to your nearest or the first dojo you find that is convenient for you and start training. quite often this is the best way, especially with regards to martial arts training.

John,

I think you are describing Playing a Game. Games consist of freedoms and barriers (and people to play them, too, of course. LRH wrote and spoke a lot about this in the 50's.

So far as verbal sparring about Sn Tech is concerned, most would prefer to ask you to try it and see, rather than consider it merely a thought exercise.

Now on this board, it is clear that there is quite a lot at stake in the sparring between the vM team and a number of others. It sounds as though emotion is present there!

Well, ultimately I think Pilot had it correct when he said that recognizing postulates is the high end of the bridge. Conditions exist for specific reasons, which is why I am so interested in science, because I learn more about the rules and conditions of the game. I also find it useful when dealing with my spiritual self in relationship to the environment. That in itself is a game.
