Non-virtual Freezone?

As a newcomer to FZA, i am both delighted and a bit overwhelmed by the diversity of viewpoints. I'm also a little "spinny" from the lack of mass, this being a virtual forum, and all.

Just wondering if there might be any flesh and blood freezoners in my general vicinity, who might have a non-virtual group going, or might be interested in getting one going?

Is this too dangerous to be undertaken? Years back in another part of the country I took this chance, and made some good friends, at least some of whom are still on the bridge (quite a bit further along than yours truly, in fact). Times have changed, but still sounds like a good idea to me.

Currently living in Southern Oregon, 300 miles from the nearest known Org or Mission. I'd also be interested in corresponding with anyone who's navigating the freezone, more or less, successfully.

Welcome jonw, to the underbelly of Scientology, where the dream of freedom is actually attainable. Well, in all fairness, that dream does exist in the 'offical' organization, it just takes a whole lot longer. :-)

It's not the environment that's dangerous, it's the perception. Keep posting and you are bound to bump into someone of similarity.

Enjoy the Forum.

Hi Paul,

I can see where the "dream" of freedom
may exist in the "official" church,
but what about the reality?

I do see how someone with a lot of
fortitude (and cash) might get
some great benefit from the existing
church, but I have no reason to
think that the church is actually
producing any actual OT's of the form
promoted by the church.

Still seems to me that the church is
selling a combo of freedom and hardcore
compliance, while only partially delivering
on the goods.

Paul,

Totally agree with you.

we don't need the Church for diddly. They charge upwards of 350,000 to go up their bridge.

^The FZA info and outside tech is better than the Church's. Scifi tech really has not been improved on since Hubbard's early stuff. That was when he managed his mania to some degree and his creativity was on course. Then he spun downward. The best scifi tech can be found in the Pilot's books. That was the early wine.
There's also other techs out there that are really outstanding. They are nonstandard clearing tech.

Basically the best scifi tech got dumped by the church because it cleared to well and that was hurting their pockets.

Go it solo. That's the best way. Do it with some trusted friends.

Merry Hollidays

Ernest, You are so right. After 1957 the tech disintegrated much like Ron's personality. 1952-1957 was tech's golden era. Then it went south. The FZA materials blow away what's in the church. Buy an Ability Meter and go solo. Self-reliance. The Bridge has collapsed forever.

Although the history is interesting, I'd like to see if I can steer this discussion back on topic and up to PT.

Anyone know of any non-virtual freezone groups west of Nevada and north of California?

West of Nevada and north of California?

Don't you mean the FREEZE-Zone?

Where is an FZA shop and bridge at? Sounds cool that I can go up the bridge without spending several hundred thousand dollars, but where do you purchase everything?

Dear yertle,

Cute! But, more accurately, the TREES-Zone.

Hello, guys!

I am sorry for asking stupid questions. Maybe the fact that I am a foreigner (CIS) and a newcomer might excuse me. Could someone, please, explain me what had happened back in latest 50s - early 60s with the Church of Scientology, why the idea of a free zone itself appeared, why the guys from the scientology churches all over the world get so nurveous when asked about you, etc. I am so thirsty for the infomation, but I feel that I can't get it anywhere else.

Thank everyone responding.

Read a book on brainwashing or Red Chinese mind control. Then read "Introduction to Scientology Ethics" by L Ron Hubbard. You will probably discover that they are very different, and that Ethics is pretty decent stuff.

Then go into the church and have a disagreement with the person they call an "ethics officer".

Then evaluate the "ethics officer". Which method is he using?

Apparently, back in the 50's and 60's, before I came along, people came into the church and experienced Scientology. Now, people come into the church, get just a taste of Scientology, and experience mostly brainwashing or mind control under the pretense of "ethics". Or at least, that was my experience. And from there, it goes downhill.

But don't take my word for it. Try it. Disagree with the Ethics Officer, and discover for yourself. Is he really working to clear the planet, or to keep people in propitiation?

Eternity - Where to get materials? Try Ebay (tons of cheap stuff if you're patient) or ask some generous FZ person to forward materials in an electronic format... not as high quality or easy to use, but hey it's still the materials. ;)

Thank you, guys, very much!
Is my understanding correct that two individuals (having reviewed the relevant books properly)practicing dianetics or scientology outside the ordinary church of scientology (say at home) may be considered as freezoners?
Am I also right, that you, guys, in the Free Zone are guided not only by LRH books, but also by the books of Capt. William Branton Robertson and others? If so, does the processing differ much from the standard processing of the CoS? Which one is quicker and more effective (I realize that it depends on the case, but still)?
Thank you!!!

Very good questions Angelica,

My best suggestion would be to speak to
as many people as possible.

Please be advised, however, that the "church"
of Scientology looks down upon anyone doing
any scientology outside of their control. They have threatening policies that state if you do
some processes outside of the church, then
you will not be allowed to get processing from
the church in the future. They do say you might
be able to get processing if the group you
got your services from was disbanded, but what
kind of church is that?

Some people buy the line that somehow, by looking at Scientology objectively or getting some help outside of their control that you are harming scientology. I think it is more like harming
their monopoly if anything else, but again,
who want a church like that?

As for your question, many in the freezone do follow LRH closely and a few are interested in the Bill Robertson stuff, but the freezone is much more that just that.

There are many options and you may have to decide which is best for you. Many will try to sell you
that their method is best, and some still can
be a bit pricey, but not all of it.

One place you might want to look

is:http://tir.org/

but I have also spoken to people who have gotten
some great results from Idenics in a very short time period.

There are many, many more options. Too many
to list just here, but you will find many others on the freezone site and by talking to others.

It's quite an adventure! And you will be certain
to get many different answers, so take your time,
watch your cash, and good luck!
