Handling suppression with mock ups Author: Tom Posted: Wed Dec 13 2000 12:56 pm The problem with "cogniting" to another that "such and such" is suppressive, is that actual suppressives seem to have many such "revelations" saying that "Joe Blow's name came up". Because this is known, and because so many so called "revelations" are actually third partied criticisms, the auditor tends to evluate the revelations including, actual revelations of real suppressives. For this reason, a solo process would be vlauble. I'm not highly trained, but in a burst of creativity, here is my attempt at a solo process, which excludes the possility of a third party evaluation.Ron talked in the PDC lectures about mocking up and controlling the mock ups of those who controlled you. Sometimes you are not sure if the person is suppressive or not. For instance, suppose that your brother is highly criticle of you, invalidating your girlfriends, your looks, your abilites, and thinking you are insane for having any spiritual beliefs, yet he loaned you 20 dollars when you starving, which shows that he doesn't want to kill you(just hypothetical of course, some friend that I know has this problem). try this (A) Mock up the suspected SP. Mow make him very nice, the epitome of good will. Have him thinking good thoughts and being super supportive. Change the mock up slighly, but still have him being good. Change it again, slightly but differently. Now have him be evil, very cunning. Change the mock up slighly. Have him flowing counter emotion. Change the emotion. Counter thought. Change it. repeat, and vary get very creative with this, pick up the emotion, good and bad, thought and counter thought, change it. After you get real good at that put the mock up above you and repeat. Put it below you and repeat. Behind you(behind you, not necessarily the body) Left Right Now Put him very far away, and repeat above process, being very creative in making him as good as you could even imagine, and as evil and covert as you could even imagine Try to get that really mixed up emotion of not knowing if he wants to save or kill you. The workability of this lies in the ability to be very creative and to get lots of change in the mockups, and ability to control that change.) In the end, in the verty least the "unimaginable" will not be excluded as a possility, and at best it will take you off of an uncertainty.
