Moderation - that ugly word

I like the idea of zero moderation because many times, but not all, the discussions take very interesting paths to places that would otherwise be by-passed. This is not to say that I will be letting all conversations go rampant. There may be times that I remove messages, but be assured that I don't enjoy doing that, so it will probably occur very infrequently - but it MAY happen, and you have every right to complain. :-)

It's all about finding a way that leads

In any case, it should be somewhere in
between "zero moderation" and
"zero tolerance" I suppose.
Either of these 2 extremes all by itself
kind of sucks, history has proven this
millions of times.

Perhaps you should enjoy cutting entheta comm.
Isn't one of the characteristics of one at 4.0 on the tone scale that he passes theta comm and stops or hinders entheta comm? I don't have it with me now.

At the risk of wearing this one out, I figure it is worth repeating as it may be found in various places including Budhism and Scientology. There are it would seem four types of beings, those who go from:
1. DARKNESS TO DARKNESS (- to -) Minus to Minus
2. DARKNESS TO LIGHT (- to +) Minus to Plus
3. LIGHT TO DARKNESS (+ to -) Plus to Minus
4. LIGHT TO LIGHT (+ to +) Plus to Plus
Clearly it would be a judgement call to determine which side a being was comming from. But in the MEST universe, good judgement is called for all the time or the result will be 3 and/or 1 above. Getting out of the MEST universe is chiefly a matter of getting and giving help, so no one takes this lightly or is willing to formulate hard and fast rules concerning how and when this should be done and this is as it should be. I really cannot say that I have ever seen a viewpoint on this board that I at one time did not myself maintain. Most asuredly I could not maintain my current viewpoints unless someone, somewhere listened me and was willing and able enough to help. Even when I did not want help I did! So I guess all I can say is that it is extremly important for me not to harden my heart
against anyone, "wash my hands of them" so to speak, as to do so is to plunge immediately to the bottom of the tone scale into the darkness
and fearfull symetry of not their mind but my own.
Though I may not actually be able to reach out to this one, I can at the least hold the postulate in my heart that help is possible. This might be the least part of good judgement I could offer and still stay on the upward spiral. There are after all lights in this world (not implants by the way) greater than all the darkness and their postulates are quite visable and most workable when it comes to moving particles on the level of
3 and/or 1 above.
