I have decided to post the story of my experiences in Scientology to
ars. I restrained myself from doing so earlier but what actually
inspired me to do so was Dan McKinnon's statement about honesty. Many
of the things I shall say disagree with the postings that several
people have made about what life is like in the Sea Org and in
Scientology. Many people will doubtless want to troll what I have to
say.
I have therefore decided to adopt the following operating basis with
respect to this thread:
1) I generally dislike the use of killfiles and have not to date used
them. I can deal with abusive garbage about more general issues. If I
openly and honestly state my personal perceptions and personal
occurrences from my life then I will not tolerate trolls. Feel free to
dump garbage on my other posts. If someone trolls this thread (start
another if you like) then they go in my killfile. (I know this
newreader doesn't have one but I will use another if necessary).
2) I would not like to be unfair in killfiling someone. Although I
have had conflicts with Tarla and Dan McKinnon and others I also
notice that they have made valuable contributions to the newsgroup
which are appreciated. I shall post details if I killfile someone. If
they feel this is wrong then please send e-mail me directly. I won't
killfile on my e-mail address unless it gets extremely abusive.
