FZ A goes international? From: ralph@hilton.org (Ralph Hilton) Subject: FZ A goes international? Date: 1999/04/29 Message-ID: <377be705.382435452@mgate.telekabel.at>#1/1 X-NNTP-Posting-Host: 205.232.34.1 Organization: [clear-l] Art Matrix - Lightlink Electra Gateway V2.6 Newsgroups: alt.clearing.technology Paul chose to make his site a family page. I talked to someone tonight who is willing to provide 5Gb of web space for a new site. That person is personally known to me and is a very stable terminal in the FZ. That person wishes to remain anon and will have a vote. In negotation we agreed to create a new web domain with a yet unspecified name. It will be a name that is very obviously FZ. The committee members who will have a vote in what occurs with that web site will be, if they choose to involve themselves, : Me Homer Enid Ra/Zero Christine LR1467 Pilot (If he/she wishes to participate) Anon hoster The list is from those we both agreed as trustworthy. That isn't an evaluation that others are not. It's just a starting point. I think that doing it on this basis should ensure the security of a very available web site for the FZ. If the above wish to participate then please email me within 72 hours. The operating basis might appear to provide me with 2 votes so you will have to trust me a little. I will need very soon to have some data on how to set up discussion pages. I have agreed to do the major part of the work in hosting it but am ignorant of quite a few things regarding web pages. So I might ask for advise a bit. No copyrighted materials will be available on the site but links might be. The above people are invited to a private list which will be created for the purpose. If there is a good web site admin on the NG then the help would be appeciated. This is an emergency measure to cope with the disintegration of a previously stable site. For the moment it will be a duocracy which will shift to a meritodemocracy fairly soon. -- Ralph Hilton http://Ralph.Hilton.org |
