You could always mail Tommy at pthorn1@pacbell.net and ask. He's always
seemed quite friendly and rational to me so I don't really see what is the
upset with him. I must admit that I delete a lot of the thread and posts of
the squabbly time after a very fast glance so probably missed whatever he
did earlier to create offense.
Pilot has openly said that he had communicated privately with a number of
people quite a while before his outing. If those people had revealed that
they were in comm with him at that time then that could well have put his
anonymity in jeapordy.
He is obviously quite capable of sending email to people without being
traceable. I don't see that Tommy's post endangered Pilot's security in any
way.
Christine has suggested that Tommy is on Pilot's inconsequential comm list
which implies that she must be on it too in order to state that he is on it
or even that such a list exists. So is Christine breaking security?
If Tommy were on an inconsequential list of Pilot's does that mean that he
isn't also on the medium security, high security, top security and double
PGP encoded lists?
Very few here are innocent of a bit of occasional name dropping so what?
Has the number of things we have to discuss here become so limited that we
have to indulge in all this sort of crap?
I'll ramble on about a few other things to save sending several posts
separately. Feel free to change the Subject heading in replies.
I've spent most of the last week working on the c-meter code.
As I said I have an interface from Nic Ford for testing the input through a
serial interface. So far its just been the interface. I have yet to hook up
an actual meter through the interface but just used a simple simulator.
I've finished the coding now to the stage of what one could call a beta
version. Everything works on my computer except for a few stupid crashes
when one tries to start recording while in the middle of playing back or
silly things like that which people are bound to do occasionally.
I built a buffer for one of my meters today to feed into the interface so
will be able to record and playback actual session data. When I've recorded
a few sessions I'll web a demo version.
It won't be today though as my mother-in-law to be turned up earlier with
some excellent bottles of home made wine.
I've been enjoying life a lot more the past couple of months. I'm back in
the mountains again after a year+ of living in Vienna. Its a pleasant city
compared to London where I lived for some years before but the presence of
so many people is personally somewhat oppressive. I'm not sure whether or
not its some sort of serfac that I find it much more pleasant to be 1000
metres up in a remote area where going to the local store involves a 3km
journey. At night the moon is bright with no city smog. One can still see
across the fields and mountains very clearly. One can hear cars driving a
mile or so away. I feel at home here in a way that I haven't before even
though I have only a vague understanding of the local language.
Perhaps language detracts from real communication.
I'll drift again....
One of the things that makes it very difficult for a practitioner is the
need to maintain a public image. Hubbard put out a PR story about himself
that was total BS. I have thought about ways to avoid that trap quite a bit.
In 84/85 I had the idea of a group without a "guru" where all contributed
and helped each other based on a totally different ethnic from the "orgs".
It didn't work - as soon as people got into the NOTs area the 2D went wild
and over-restimulated.
Neville Chamberlain turned up as a "Class 8" and destroyed the scene beyond
my ability to re-create it at that time. He ripped off a few PCs and 3rd
partied me to many. He turned up on clear-l briefly with a heavy attack on
me quite some while ago and then vanished after a few weeks of parading his
intimacies with LRH.
Alan seems to be good friends with him which was the major part of my early
problems with Alan. The rest of my problem with Alan was Heidrun getting all
secretive and missed withholdy and perverting comm lines regarding Alan's
tech.
But back to earlier - Neville had very hard ideas that one should never have
any sexual interaction with anyone one has ever audited. This was drummed
into him by the S.O. and he never seemed to have escaped from the
conditioning.
About 15 years ago I slept with a lady - she was on OT3 at the time under my
supervision. She came along one night with a bag with her toothbrush etc.
all set to stay the night. I didn't really want to get involved but after a
few hours and a few bottles of wine I slept with her. After that she got
possessive and when I made it plain to her that I wasn't interested in a
long term relationship she went to Neville and fell in love with him. He
believed her story of being an innocent lady seduced and almost raped.
So I can understand his attacks but not his stupidity in believing an
obviously spurned woman who was trying to play the same game with him.
(Not an attack on women - it works both ways)
After that I went low profile. I audited a few people but had lost my intent
to create a group. I considered Neville a suppressive bastard.
A few years ago I got on the net and started communicating on a.r.s. I found
a few assholes but I also found that most of the people there respected my
communication. When I post there I expect a bit of flack from diehard
psychotics but if one is willing to brave that then I think one will find
that most people there are willing to communicate and very much welcome the
communication.
I became revitalized somewhat.
Over that time I had been auditing solo extensively with good wins and
auditing others to a cautious extent.
I got into communication with Heidrun on the net and after a visit 3 years
ago decided to move to Austria which I did a few months after.
After initial sexual encounters which for me were not endearing I asserted a
business relationship which was agreed to. I felt under sexual pressure from
Heidrun after I came to Austria to live. She withheld details about her
communication with Neville and started to 3rd party me to him and Alan (that
is based on what Neville admitted to me later). She suggested that because
we were in the same house I should fulfill her sexual needs. I disagreed and
she was upset.
I became involved with the wife of a man I was auditing. It was a difficult
situation. He was aware that his wife loved me and condoned my relationship
with her but became upset when she didn't want to sleep with him anymore.
She moved in with me and now he has a new girlfriend. There are still some
problems with the situation.
Heidrun was upset and in private mail accused me of being some sort of
vampiric spider.
Finances have not been easy. I'm not a salesman and very few people come
along here.
I deeply admire Alan's ability to withhold. I have trouble with that.
Recently a lady visited here who said she had co-audited OT8. On enquiry I
discovered that the OT8 that she had run was the version I had created and
posted on my website. But she had received it from someone who didn't have
the decency to say that they had taken it from my website and that was Ralph
Hilton's OT8 not someone else's.
I'm not posting my research above OT8 any further. I've sent details of my
current auditing to a limited list and will keep it that way until I decide
otherwise.
I can see that many want the tech to be freely availble to all. I'm not
willing anymore for the top levels to be that way.
The tech as I offer it is available to those who have done the earlier
levels.
The highest level of tech that I have been working on is too subject to
abuse to release freely. It contains the way of destroying others. Those a
few levels down without the ev. purps. handled could use the data to ruin
others.
I respect Alan's decision to keep certain levels of his tech secret. I
disagreed before but now agree.
Those levels are available to all who have done the earlier levels.
A reasonable exchange is expected.
In future people will people will only be admitted to OT9 here when they
have demonstrated that they can:
1. Audit a PC succesfully to grade 4.
2. Have studied the SHSBC.
I was recently told by a "class 6" that when she got to boring bits that she
would fast forward the tape until it got interesting.
In the future when someone comes here to do OT9 then they will get checked
on their understanding of the SHSBC extensively.
I'll work with a few people on a faster route with extensive supervision.
Currently I have no-one on my lines who can run my OT8. I am working with
people below that level.
So one might see that I am a bit lonely. Just me and Alan and Enid and a few
others playing in the sky.
Christine understands what I am saying and can run OT9.
Most of this ng is pandering to idiots.
Just ignore Koos and AMman and NetPreacher and any other idiots that appear.
People will gain my respect (if that is important) by ignoring the idiots
with their one shot clear processes.
That was my ramble for the night and the first bottle of wine is nearly
finished.
More wisdoms might appear later depending on whether or not I drink more
wine and whether or not my girlfriend gets off the phone.
